Depression can feel overwhelming
Everyone feels depressed from time to time. When the feeling of depression is persistent or overwhelming, it’s important to get some support.
Depression doesn’t always feel the way you expect it to. It isn’t necessarily a sad or miserable feeling. You might feel like you don’t feel anything at all – just an endless feeling of nothingness with no interest in doing anything and barely any enjoyment in doing the things you usually love.
On top of this, you might find yourself withdrawing from friends and family, leaving you feeling isolated. You may also have feelings of anger or anxiety or be worried about how your depression is affecting your children.
Therapy can help…
Going to therapy might feel daunting but the good news is that it can help you get back to feeling like you again.
I provide you with:
- A safe space to explore what you’re feeling (and what you’re not feeling)
- Understanding your depression and what might be causing it
- Support to make changes that will ease your depression
- The tools to develop better relationships and boundaries to reduce the risk of it returning.
